True Unity Records is a newly founded label from Dotz, known in the battle circuit and on record with his numerous solo and collaborative releases he's on route to be a household name in the UK Scene. True Unity speaks volumes for the labels name and has signed a bag of heads we rate highly, it'll be an understatement to say we're hyped to find out more. Recently True Unity dropped the first project from Dotz himself and Philadelphia based producer Elbe Kim titled Bring The Soul Back EP, let's get stuck in with a track by track breakdown!

Opening the release is Bring The Soul Back in which you'll quickly be introduced to the magic of Elbe Kim on beats. Instantly you can hear the soul begin to ooze through the speakers as the rejuvenated and hungrier than ever Dotz grabs the mic. Bringing the ultimate presence Dotz will astound you as he encapsulates the essence of hip hop with each hard hitting bar. An official video has just dropped for this one so clock that below!

The second track from the EP is titled See No Evil and features cuts from the one and only JabbaThaKut! The beat is an absolute beast, oozing soul all over your dome piece with enough boom bap to keep that head nodding. Dotz takes flight and begins to lace the beat with a fury of lifes truths, analysing his journey thus far in life and the situations we're caught up in! A classic track for any Dotz fans!

Next up is We Need You To Fight which I had the privilege of hearing early and it's been on blast since! Dotz comes in swinging for everyone on this one, showcasing his ever growing versatility as he takes a stand for the underdogs, homeless, grafters and those who are two steps from losing everything, We Need You To FIGHT!! Nearing the end we land on Don't Give Up On Me allows Dotz to further delve into his past, present and future with this one dedicated to his soul partner Flo! Light up a zoot and cotch as Dotz reminds us why we need to pay tribute to the women in our lives at times! Ending the Bring The Soul Back EP EP is the heavyweight posse cut titled Box With Gods featuring the following dons in order! Skrabl, Blizzard, Tony D, Blak Twang, Wordsmiff Flip and Peterz!
