iNDEX Peter Profit EP Review

The southwest is not short of talent when it comes to hip hop, especially when you look towards the city of Bristol, absolutely packed with gifted artists, bringing some of the best emcees, producers and collectives to the forefront of the scene. iNDEX is one of the many talented heads from the city that we're keeping a close eye on this year, known for his tranquil and thought provoking style, backed by producers who'll make your ears melt with joy. At the moment iNDEX doesn't have a massive backlog of music you can get stuck into just yet, but what he has released it's undeniably dope! Especially his Peter Profit EP which dropped on 27th November 2014 featuring a total of 8 tracks all produced by Chro! We've been meaning to review it since it dropped, so let's go!

First up is Chro Logic opening up with that soul cleansing production we just touched on, iNDEX soon enters the session with smooth and vivid delivery, lacing the beat with weed infused bars, displaying his presence and penmanship with ease. Cake House continues with the chilled vibes, adding a bit more funk into the mixture, in which iNDEX bodies with a mixture of subjects, mostly praising the piff but touching loosely on other subjects! Without a doubt, a stoners wake and bake anthem. Get Live is third up from the Peter Profit EP and switches the beat up bringing jazz infused goodness to your eardrums, iNDEX brings an assortment of head noddin rhymes, covering many aspect of his music/life from inspiration, goals, motivation to those little green buds which keep the inner beast contained. Blasting off with greasy, unsettling production Dime Bag switches it up with as iNDEX opens with the first verse on some straight up barfest, joining him along sides Chro's horror core beat is Eric Da Red, Res One, O.A.B, Sean Peng, BVA and Smellington Piff! It's safe to say you won't be disappointed with Dime Bag in the slightest, bill up another one and hit play on the bandcamp plugin below!

Weed Music is that wake and bake jam for certain, kicking off with mesmerizing beats that ooze elevation at every snare, iNDEX slews rhyme after rhyme drowning the listener in dank piff references with potent flows and a strong presence on Chro's stella production! Lay Back is another one of those laid back, reflective and summer vibe type tracks that iNDEX & Chro create with ease, iNDEX intertwines his rhymes with the beat to express a collection of thoughts, most notably the love for the essence of hip hop! Sean Peng from NLP records drops by for a feature on Lay Back, blessing the beat with his vivid delivery, encapsulating flow and abundance of head noddin bars! A banger for certain! Next up is S.A.G.E featuring an official video and more tranquil production from Chro, iNDEX effortlessly displays his laid back pengame, tranquil and lucid flows and an intense amount of conscious vibes to the dome. One of iNDEX's many tracks which showcase why this breddas one to watch this year! Bill up a zoot and press play.

Last track from the Peter Profit EP is titled 3Tulsi setting the scene with some next level production by Chro who's quickly making a name for himself. iNDEX opens up with potent rhymes paying tribute to the ganja plant that keeps many of us inspired, despite the trials and tribulations which we come across while on our travels. That brings the Peter Profit EP to an end unfortunately, while only weighing in at 8 tracks we can safely say it feels like it packs a much large punch, gripping you further and further in with each track, Chro displays nothing but impeccable production through-out and together, they create mesmerizing songs which will grab your imagination by the balls.
