UndergroundHH brings you Adam The Rapper and Cuth who teamed up to release an EP titled 'The Letters EP' which features Adam laying down his poetry skills, backing him up with producing, recording and mixing by Cuth. I had the chance to listen to their promotional copy and it's a banger of a release, each track is creative in it's own right with Adam The Rapper and Cuth bringing us back to old school vibes. We're going to hit you with their press release and also a nice promotional video they have done, if you're feeling the EP then support them! Definitely a sick duo and I'll be bumping this at work for the foreseeable future.

Adam Kammerling, National Poetry Slam Champion, Don't Flop veteran (as Adam The Rapper) and all round busybody has teamed up with Cuth, crate-digging producer extraordinaire for Letters, their debut outing as Adam and Cuth. Together they create an earthy, soulful brew, the perfect antidote to the 'cash and hoes' attitude so prevalent in modern Rap.

This is old school Hip Hop with a modern twist; Cuth's dusty soul-loops swim beneath Adam's casual yet technical flows,taking in everything from Prince and white cider to skateboarding and biscuits. Adam's plain-speaking style cuts out the rubbish; the only reference to money is in its absence, women are respected, homophobes chastised and marijuana smoking isn't even slightly fetishised. Part early Ghostface, part The Streets, part Pete Rock and CL Smooth, Letters stands out through its simplicity and its down to earth character. Both Adam and Cuth's individual styles blend to create a super-distinctive sound that is maintained throughout the whole EP.

You can hear tracks from The Letters EP on Brighton radio stations, Codesouth FM and Southern Radio. Adam and Cuth have put together a live-band for the upcoming gigs in support of the new EP. Dates confirmed in London are October 12th as part of the Oxjam festival and November 17th at the Victoria in Dalston, November gigs TBC in Bristol, Brighton and Birmingham. Adam gigs regularly around the country as a Spoken Word artist and you can catch him at both Brighton and London Come Rhyme With Me on Oct 5th and 26th respectively and Bristol Old Vic on Nov 12th..
