Foreign Beggars are a hip hop, grim and dubstep group based in London. The group has a total of four people, MC's Orifice Vulgatron, Metropolis and producers Dag Nabbit and DJ nonames who are widely known for their energetic live shows.
Foreign Beggars release their records through their own label known as 'Dented Records', they also help other UK underground artists through their label. The group perform over 100 shows a year and have supported many high profile artists over many different genres of music.
Orifice Vulgatron and Dag Nabbit have known each other for many years, they had been playing in Metal, grunge and indie bands since 1993. They Later decided to start creating hip hop in 96/97 and formed a group, shortly after they began to start hosting Drum & Bass house parties, Raves and ballrooms.
Dag Nabbit moved in 1998 to Norway and Orifice Vulgatron moved to london in 1999, they both continued to create / produce music and regrouped again in London.They both set up a studio and continued promoting on pirate and internet stations and performing at raves such as Dekefex, Kung Fu, Rollercoaster whilst they were supporting / booking some of the following; Andy C, Ed Rush, DJ Craze, Skinnyman.
In 2000 DJ nonames met Metropolis at University and they soon joined the hip hop and funk based band known as 'Focused Few', they then began to throw warehouse parties and tour. OV was introduced to Nonames through another DJ known as Gizroc, Nonames was working on the lighting and sound for "The Wizard of OZ" in which he did the entire sound with a Technics 1210, a vestax 05 and a Wizard of Oz Vinyl.
Nearing the end of 2002 Orifice Vulgatron and Dag Nabbit decided to release "Foreign Beggars" on their own label - Dented Records, they then began to record and perform with DJ Nonames, Metropolis and beatboxer Shlomo.
