One of the most anticipated albums is around the corner, coming over the horizon to a speaker near you - that album would have to be Yesterday's Future by Mr Key and Greenwood Sharps! Ever since hearing Mr Key on the Contact Play release many moons ago, we've seen extremely small snippets of Mr Key's music until eventually everything died down. During this time Mr Key spent a long time wandering the earth, soon after returning to spit his findings alongside Greenwood Sharps who's handling the production, instantly things are looking very promising!

Opening up with Yesterday's Future is Rituals the first track which features Jam Baxter spitting alongside Mr Key, expect reflections on their past lifestyles as they look to the future ontop of the drum/chime inspired geniusness of Greenwood Sharps. Exact Costs PT1 / All Rise is a track that's as experimental as they come, some of you will have already seen the official video however, the album version comes with a surprise. Extra Costs Part 1 opens up with Mr Key on his ones as he rides the mellow vibes, soon after it blends into the second part of the track titled All Rise featuring Edward Scissortongue! Peep the official video below (minus All Rise unfortunately!).

Mr Key | Exact Costs Part 1

Next up is Missing You which starts off by releasing tranquil vibrations straight into your frontal dome as Mr Keys proceeds to rap from the heart, looking back on his failed relationship but not in the typical bitter manner, rather cherishing the moments he had and the others he'll never experience, questioning this and that eventually leading up to the inevitable What if? Through out the track the beat builds to encompass for Mr Keys switching mood, definitely one of the tracks which showcases Mr Key & Greenwood Sharps chemistry! Millions is a track many of you should of heard by now as the video dropped last month! This track needs no explanation, just light a zoot and kick back to the official video below!

Mr Key & Greenwood Sharps | Millions

Fall Away was one of the first tracks/videos released to start building the hype, featuring abstract production and a handful of lyrics from Mr Key, touching on relationships and being shackled and drawn in mundane jobs, eventually we all fall away. Peep it on the official bandcamp below and you can also pre-order the album there!

Skipping Funny Valentine (Go cop the album!) we land on the seventh track Kids Story which should sound familiar from the days when Dirty Dike ran his Dike Bumps Into series! A lot of you will be ecstatic that it's been included in the album and perfected better than you ever fathomed! You can expect Mr Key to be in his element, the rhymes roll off the tongue as he paints a derelict picture of a broken home and family, neglected by society's foundations and unfortunate situations.

Solstice is one of those tracks that's going to send chills up your spine, opening up with a stream of peaceful organs playing in the background as Mr Keys speech is distorted to add even more presence to his rustic voice! Towards the later end of the track Greenwood Sharps is let loose to shower you in euphoric drum patterns. We're going to skip the next three tracks which are Exact Costs Part 2 This Music I Know, Tongue Bite (featuring Dirty Dike and a collab we haven't seen happen for years, Ronnie Bosh!) and Faust Hyped for your listening pleasure! (Cop the CD/Vinyl below!). Cowboy Builders is third to last and induces you in with an ambiant intro until the beat turns into a hypnotic trip down memory lane. Mr Key engulfs the beat with raw bars about his mindstate and situations in life, consuming ketamine and other drugs, heated arguements, being stuck in the past and that bit of the brain that says. "SWITCH!"

As you near the end of Yesterday's Future you'll come across Icarus Instinct which is another of the many stand out tracks for us! Greenwood Sharps constantly knocks you off your feet throughout the album with his mesmerizing production however the slow clapping beat and guitars showcases nothing but perfection and sets Mr Key up to create another masterpiece.

The last track on the album is Dandelion and although it signals the end of the album, it wraps up this incredible CD in the best way it ever could! Expect Greenwood to impress with another stellar tranquil dreamy beat for Mr Key to deliver the food for thought, what is freedom?

Many heads have been awaiting Mr Key to drop a release for a long time and teaming up with Greenwood Sharps couldn't have worked any better, the chemistry, the way they set the mood, the flow of the album and how they deliver the goods is outstanding. If you haven't already got yourself a copy on Pre-Order then step your game up as the album drops on the 10th of June! The CD costs £8.99 and the Vinyl £17.99 cementing this as an absolute bargain!
