Twisted Pennys doesn't hang about, kicking off 2015 extremely strong with an arrival of an 8 track release titled Blank Blankets, each track features it's own producer creating a unique and diverse platform for TP to ride, displaying a solid array of pengame, greasy flows and conscious thought patterns through out! We arn't going to waste any time so let's delve into a track by track review and see what TP has delivered this time.

So Much Evil kick starts the Black Blankets EP, devling into a dark and eerie skit eventually breaking out into Luke Petterson's greasy and murky production, Twisted Pennys soon showcases his skillset with a barrage of substance, lucid to mind bending flows and enough presence on a beat to kill a man without murmuring a word. Rosebud is the second track from the EP, with production by Drae Da Ski Mask you can expect to hear a beat from the belly of the beast, followed by Twisted Pennys opening with some bars and a lazy flow, until releasing the inner beast duppying the track with bars focusing on those snakes who come by from time to time.

Astral Harness is certainly one of the most stand out tracks for us, featuring the greasy, unnerving and flawless production of Morriachi! Knowing both of these heads back catalogue, I know from the get-go this combination will work very well and no doubt you'll agree! Compact to the brim with conscious, thought provoking and generally just dope subject matter, slewed with TP's signature delivery and effortless delivery! Evergreen is the first track to accompany a feature with Cheech riding the beat with alongside TP produced by Kurly Hypa, both set out to destroy the beat with rhymes that showcases their skillsets on beat to claim a piece of the pie. Chakras produced by Drae Da Ski Mask dropped on the 31st of October along with an official video via Rizzy Edits, you can expect to get acquainted with TP's style in no time, spewing out an assortment of hypnotic rhymes and laid back, greasy delivery with plenty of subject matter and substance! Rtik One supplying the funky laid back production on Shaman, allowing Twisted Pennys and Sane Skitza to the lace the riddem with reality bending bars from their inner Shamans! Fuck is another stand out track for us, with Dos Gringos laying down the beat that compliments the delivery that TP's supplying with ease. Do The Damn Thing is a straight up heartfelt session from TP, breaking down sections of his life, ambitions and drive within the hip hop game, featuring another guest verse but this time from Kamakaze! Backing up the subject matter with a strong presence on beat, smooth flow and quality pengame!
