Well, one month in to 2017 and the world has gone crazy, but at least the UK scene is already chalkin up some massive releases! One of Underground HH's 'one's to watch' is a duo of the highest calibre - UK stalwart and living legend - Iceski and Hamburg's beast of beat maker - Merlin. With help from some of the UK's finest they have pressed to wax two tracks that scream "hip hop". Lyrical fire from the bowels of hell and epicness only Merlin can capture within a beat. Following on from last year’s brilliant Enter the Dragon EP, Iceski and Merlin return with these two huge new tracks pressed into a hardcore 45. In the title track 'The Godfather' they have recruited the talents of Mistah Bohze (II Tone Committee/Sentanalez). He spits his verse with a swagger only he can strut and completes the deal with some brilliant cuts. On the flip side the duo have crafted another serious head nodder 'The Scientist'. Featuring cuts from a name synonymous with UK scratching - DJ Tones, droppin science like a butter-fingered physics teacher.

To be honest, this is more of a double A side. With another great cover by Mr. Tibbz, both tracks are as stacked as mafia armoury.
