Brand new to Underground HH HQ is the artist 'Rupert'. Just dropping a brand new 'must-see' music video and a brand new EP he has grabbed our attention. With a vocal delivery that is poetic and passionate, his bars are scored to make his listeners stop and question the crazy world around us. He has combined his hip hop skills with an electro-synth soundscape and made something that feels both warming and familiar and yet fresh and challenging. His video for title track 'SYLO' is a thing of beauty.

Coming with two more great tracks, SYLO is a great little collection of vibes. Reminiscent of the likes of Scroobius Pip and Mike Skinner, but with a UK hip hop knowledge and syllable placement that shines through the swagger. Produced by Giacomo and mastered by Pete Cannon, he also pays attention to the hook, using modern sounds to sell his story and keep the tracks firmly wedged as ear worms in your ear.
