Ladies and gentliens… Coming to a screen near you, Brighton based hip hop duo Broken Authors and docu-film makers Bluw Media Studios bring you the release of the first Science Fiction Hip Hop B-Movie. U.F.O. (United Flowing Orators) ‘A Science Fiction Hip Hop B-Movie’ is free to view online from Wednesday 03/06/15. Produced by Joel Shepherd at Bluw Media, and written and directed by Invokal - Speech Urchin [wordsmith behind Broken Authors], the accompanying track features music by DJ Tones, and words by MC’s: Invokal, Mista Websta, Tony the Scribe, Lennie, TS One, and One Native Son.

Taking place aboard a blackhole-converting-starship, and starring a cast of puppets a young Jim Henson would be proud of, the film and soundtrack tell the story of L.J. Skywanderer (Lucy Jones) on her nightmare to the stars and back. With a cameo from comedian Alexander Lynch, the film is best described as UK Hip Hop meets ‘Pigs in Space’.

“The song itself name checks almost every SciFi icon. You name it we referenced it. So with the film we wanted to achieve something worthy of decades of science fiction history and culture. Inspired by SciFi’s often low budgets and the incredible nostalgia those films bring, a B-movie was the perfect choice.” – Invokal
