Verb T blessed us earlier in the year with his album 'I Remain' which took us all on a tranquil Journey through Verb's mind, we're glad to announce he's back with a follow up release titled Medicated Dreams. The EP has been written and recorded over the last few months to document Verb T's thoughts and experiences as he struggles with chronic illness, featuring a total of 9 tracks entirely produced by Verb himself, you can expect to hear that laid back flow, food for thought rhymes and the underlying tones of progression! We're gonna review the entire Medicated Dreams EP, so let's get it poppin.

Medicated Dreams starts with a track titled The Tunnel introducing you to the tranquil and laid back rhythms the EP has to offer, concocted with woozy, ambient production and Verb's laid back delivery and vivid flows makes a solid opening track for Medicated Dreams. Dreaming Of A life is the only track containing a feature, Moreone rides the beat alongside Verb lacing the euphoric beat with rhymes focused on progression and on the dream you've pursuing. Isn't Clear continues to show off Verbs ever growing production skills with another tranquil self reflecting beat, Verb battles with a mix match of emotions due to a chronic illness and airs them flawlessly on the beat, check out the official video for the Isn't Clear below.

Verb T - Isn't Clear

Breathe is the 4th track from Medicated Dreams and is cut quite short running in at under 2 minutes, however you can expect to hear Verb's versatile flow, delivery and wordplay with every rhyme which then blends into a short skit. Medicate is potentially our favorite from the EP featuring Verb rapping about the medicinal system and how drugs are thrown at you for sedation and not solve the problem at hand. Warning Label is another short skit/rap in which Verb goes through some medication warning labels and their excessive side effects, in which you can take another pill to cure. By the time we hit Deja Vu Verb's moved onto the stronger meds and his heads spinning through a drug whirlwind until he awakens with the hook/outro.

Powdered Dreams features one of the best beats I've heard thus far from Verb T, it'll get you vibing on some out of body experience tip it's that relaxing, laced with his signature laid back flow and delivery it's a classic Verb T track, hit the play button below to check it out.
