UGHH Presents High Focus

Powerhouse is the only way to describe this giant label that goes by the name of High Focus, established in 2010 with one aim in mind, to offer a new platform for the next generation of producers and rappers within the United Kingdom. Now in 2012 High Focus has clocked over 3 Million views on their Youtube Channel and have brought through some of the best home grown hip hop artists to date, defining the scene as we know it.

Let's kick it off by showing you their sick roster, the current signings are Fliptrix, Verb T, Dirty Dike, Jam Baxter and Leafdog, but let's not forget the group The Four Owls.

FlipTrix

Fliptrix has been working his way to the top for the last few years trying to put his stamp on the game, not only a rapper who has perfected a unique style of rap he is also the man responsible for founding this mountain of a record label. Currently he has 3 albums released, the most recent one titled 'Third Eye Of The Storm' is guaranteed nang or get your money back, here's a track of the album.

Jam Baxter

Next from the list of signings is Jam Baxter, one fifth of the one and only Contact Play! He's been wrecking the scene and showing some of the sickest wordplay schemes mixed with straight up lyrical bars. Currently Baxter has two releases under his belt, titled 'Rinse Out Friday / Spack Out Monday' and more recently 'The Gruesome Features' which is yet another solid release from everyone at High Focus. Dirty Dike

Founder of Contact Play and SMB dike is a big player in the High Focus take over, his first release is titled 'Bogies and Alcohol' which is just a sample in our eyes of what dike has to offer to the new uprising of uk hip hop. He was then part of the underground classic album by Contact Play titled 'Champion Fraff', dike doesn't stop there as his second solo release 'Constant Dikestar' via HighFocus firmly puts his stamp on the scene. Checkout his track 'Pork Pie' coming from Constant Dikestar.

Leaf Dog

10 Years deep, one third of The Three Amigos and one hell of a beat maker we bring you Leaf Dog. His first solo release is titled 'From A Scarecrows Perspective' released on the 13th of June 2011 is a perfect example of what defines Leaf Dog best. He's supported the likes of KRS One, Sugar Hill Gang, Foreign Beggars, Skinnyman, Klashnekoff and the list goes on! He's also a master at creating beats, having collaborated with Rass Kass, Kool G Rap, Vinnie Paz, Canibus and so much more! Here's an example at Leaf Dog at work, titled 'Some People Say' from his solo album from High Focus records.

Verb T

Verb T is an underground legend having worked with some of the biggest names in the british scene as well as high end producers such as William Orbit and Edwin Collins, Verb brings a fresh style to the scene which sticks to the true roots of hip hop but still helping the expansion of the art form. Having many releases to his name we'll plug a track from his latest release More Dynamite EP titled 'Life In A Day'.

The Four Owls

High Focus presents it's latest powerhouse of a group featuring Fliptrix, Verb T, BVA MC and Leaf Dog going by the name of The Four Owls. This album is the labels most ambitious release to this day and really shows what the label is pushin as a whole, also featuring Jam Baxter and Dirty Dike.
