Earlier this month emcee Theme dropped his second EP titled 'Thorough Bred' featuring a total of six homegrown tracks and features from some of the finest emcees and producers in the country. You can expect to hear some killer verses from members of Caxton Press, Rhyme Asylum and Triple Darkness along with some high quality production from Micall Parknsun, 7thDan, Crossbone T and DeadMan walkin! We've checked it out and decided to give it a review on the site, so let's get into it.

The EP kicks off with 'Last Of A Dying Breed' with eerie vibes on the beat, Theme goes in on the beat airing why he's in a different league to all the wannabe rappers - backed up with solid verses from Killa & Skirmish continuing the subject matter! Next up is the self titled track 'Thorough Bred' with production from Crossbone T, Theme showcases his ill pen game, wordplay and love for the real heads. 'Leave It Alone' has been produced by the legendary Micall Parknsun laying down a flawless platform for Theme to ride, absolutely demolishing the beat gunnin for fakes, ego junkies, keyboard warriors, fake thugs and all types of frontin. 'Dead Man Talking' showcases Themes ruthlessness with his flow game, delivering raw rhymes in quick concessions and then completely shutting down the track yet again with his wordplay. 'Reppin' features Micall Parknsun on the beat again and the subject matter is exactly what it says on the tin! A track for the real heads reppin the movement, guaranteed to get the head noddin. Last track on the album is 'Rappers Worst Nightmare' produced by 7th Dan featuring Ray Vendetta & Tesla's Ghost blessing the beat along with Theme. You can expect to hear all theme emcees sparring with the mic delivering cold rhymes and rugged vibes wrapping the EP up flawlessly.
