Mylo Stone And Percy Filth End Of Level Boss Music Review

Mylo Stone And Percy Filth End Of Level Boss Music Review

If we have truly reached the end of the level, then both Mylo Stone and Percy Filth vigorously raised it just before completion. End of Level Boss Music is a smash on the sinuses. If you were playing Streets of Rage then this EP is definitely something you’d take up in the lift. Booom! Have that. Serving up 7 tracks of heavy duty beats, savvy cuts and razor sharp tongues.

Mylo Stone & Percy Filth | Brukfoot

The mechanics of this album almost seem futuristic, although a gaming theme is consistent throughout. The blips, bloops and glitches romanticise with retro gaming but this is strictly a heavy hip hop album. Tidal waves of synths and the storming hard hitting drums make this a uniquely powerful hip hop experience. One thing is for sure, I wouldn’t want to be a rookie player riding on these beats. You’ll come out looking like Earthworm Jim on a crack binge.

Its kind of like Bomberman has hijacked the show and placed 7 hot bombs into the back of your speakers, but each is different. Track 6, 'Night Stalkers' is cool as fuck and helps to slow down the album. On a whole it's dynamic, on the edge and robustly potent throughout. End Of Level Boss Music is hooked up to the wires of the modern age, zapping a monstrous spark of UK hip hop straight out of Bristol. Straight into the room of anyone who enjoys hip hop or might have a thirst for nostalgic old school Beat 'em up games. \"HADDDDOOKEN."

Mylo Stone & Percy Filth | Nightstalkers

Percy Filth stamps his authority with compelling production from track to track. While Mylo Stone brings sick bars to the beat. The album also features Sonnyjim, DatKid, Rola Roc, Kosyne, Juice Aleem, Bva, Serocee and Eva Lazarus.

They show great team work to obliterate that end of level boss we so love to hate. They'll be back though. This was a highly impressive and energetic package. Big sounds. About as big as The Colossi boss in Shadow of the Colossus if any of you remember.

Check him out on google and definitely check out this EP below on the bandcamp plugin. Just 4 quid, bargain bonus round!
