Pandamonium The Summer Playlist Album Review

Pandamonium The Summer Playlist Album Review

Way back at the beginning of the year two UK hip hop heads brought us one of the freshest and most flow-laden releases these shores has seen in a good while. Skills That Don't Pay The Bills by Joe Dojo and Pandamonium. One of UKHH HQ's most played albums, they're now deep in the studio working on their well anticipated next outing. Never one to leave the fans waiting, the beat producing half of the duo has revisited some of his old tracks and created a little gift to tide us over. Pandamonium has brought together a collection of his personal favorites from his first 2 releases - "The Sixteenth Letter" and "Altruistic Motives", and reworked them into a brand new, sunshine infused, fresher than a daisy and with more flow than the Nile, straight up summer banger of an album!

The feature duties on this compilation of skills are by... Nikkles, Stacey Lou, Rico, Sleaze, Destruct, Dirty Joe, Big Rain, JMan, The Scribes, Vegas, Loop Skywalker and CW Jones. The album contains 2 original tracks for the serious Panda' fans, while the remashed and redesigned bulk is faultless in it's presentation. Together with the intro and interlude, they create an entire listening experience, and one that any true UK hip hop fan will relish in.

Panda' continues... "I made the project to add a new twist to a selection of already much loved tracks from my discography. But more than that, i wanted to provide something new for the true boom bap heads to blast out of the speakers this summer!"

Each and every beat simply oozes with the love that went into making it. Pandamonium has amazed heads up and down the country with the quality of the music he produces, and with this baker's dozen of tracks, does nothing short of solidifying his part in the history, all at a time when UK hip hop seems to be enjoying a golden era. The bars that dance between his artwork are just as impressive, each and every MC clearly dedicating time and passion to the nibs they've attacked with. There are artists from all corners of this chunk of earth, and their accents and dialects make this all the more proud to represent what UK hip hoppers are capable of.

This is hip hop of the highest calibre, and Pandamonium is fast becoming one of the most sought after producers on these wind swept shores. With tracks for the best BBQ or beach day you could hope for, and if it rains til Christmas then fuck it - it'll blare it out the speakers regardless.
