Mongrel

Mongrel was formed in Sheffield during 2008 and is a Hip Hop Indie band founded by Andy Nicholson (Arctic Monkeys) along with Jon McClure and Joe Moscow (Reverend and the makers), Drew McConnell (Babyshambles) and Matt Helders (Arctic Monkeys) as well as Lowkey (Poisonous Poets).

On the 7th of March 2009 Mongrel released their first album titled 'Better Than Heavy', the band focuses on political music for almost the entire album.
